We are seeking a Principle Consultant to join our team!
Job Purpose: To carry out client engagements from sale through repeat business. To deliver software systems on the Microsoft platform. To consult, assist, and inspect custom business software on many platforms
Duties:
- Exercise proficiency in .Net technologies including Html5, CSS 3, jQuery, ASP.NET MVC, WPF, Silverlight, SQL Server, MSMQ, NServiceBus, NHibernate, AutoMapper, Log4Net, psake, Tarantino, pstrami, ReSharper, TeamCity, C#, StructureMap
- Manage client’s budget. Manage all aspects of the engagement including scope definition, effort estimation, architecture definition, high level software design, development, deployment, knowledge transfer
- Client communication (bonding, rapport, expectations management, presentations)
- Teach training classes and act as a coach for client’s technical staff and managers
- Mentor other team members on software design, budgets, timelines, client communication, best practices, and risk management.
- Support sales by inspiring confidence in prospective clients and providing options for new client engagements
- Use Microsoft development tools to analyze, design, code, test, and deploy software

- Manage project metrics including the effective bill rate of a project

- Accomplish goals through others and be accountable for the work of others
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and a demonstrated passion for learning and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated experience delivering software in a lead or management role
