Dustin Wells | Headspring CEODustin Wells, Founder & CEO

Managing development and deployment of custom software solutions since 1999 with the inception of his first enterprise, Austin Data Works, Dustin has extensive expertise in bringing value to his clientele by way of quality, specialized products. Austin Data Works became Headspring in 2005, and to date Dustin has successfully led projects for over 125 clients including custom applications for Dell, Trilogy, Activant, and many others. Dustin’s past experience includes technology consulting and enterprise architecture, programming, business management, and finance. Dustin is actively involved in the community as a board member of and volunteer for several non-profit organizations. Dustin is a graduate of University of Texas at Austin, a dedicated Longhorns fan, a musician, and an expert in preparing smoked BBQ ribs.

 

Jeffrey Palermo | Headspring COO Jeffrey Palermo, President & COO

A senior member of the leadership team of Headspring, Jeffrey specializes in Agile management coaching and helps companies double the productivity of software teams. He is instrumental in the Austin software community as a member of the board of directors of Agile Austin and a director of the Austin .Net Users Group. Jeffrey has been recognized by Microsoft as a “Microsoft Most Valuable Professional” (MVP) for technical and community leadership. He is also certified as a MCSD.Net and ScrumMaster. Jeffrey has spoken and facilitated at industry conferences such as VSLive, DevTeach, and Microsoft Tech-Ed. He also speaks to user groups around the country as part of the INETA Speakers’ Bureau. Jeffrey is also a Christian, husband, father, motorcyclist, Eagle Scout, U.S. Army Veteran (Iraq 2003), Texas A&M University graduate, and a dedicated Aggie fan.

 

Kevin Hurwitz | Headspring Chief ArchitectKevin Hurwitz, Chief Architect

A senior member of the leadership team of Headspring Systems, Kevin Hurwitz oversees the delivery of .NET implementations and leads Headspring’s effort to refine its industry-leading software delivery processes. These processes include ROI-focused requirements analysis, agile project management, and the extensive use of automation to increase business value and software accuracy while simultaneously reducing implementation costs. In total, Kevin has eleven years of experience delivering custom software for more than twenty companies, of all sizes, across multiple industries including e-commerce, insurance, real estate, mortgage lending, and telecommunications. He is also a Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) and has delivered several technical presentations for .NET user groups and software development conferences.

 

Glenn Burnside | Headspring Director of Software DevelopmentGlenn Burnside, Director of Software Development

Glenn ensures the successful, “zero-surprises” execution of all our clients’ projects, and the delivery of our unique “Boot Camp” style technology courses. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Glenn has been delivering software projects and leading development teams for over 14 years, ranging from high-speed data acquisition libraries to global e-commerce solutions, as well as enterprise products for both the medical and financial industries. He works with all our consulting staff to make sure they are fully equipped to delight our clients with insightful solutions to their business needs.  He is an Eagle Scout, a Microsoft Certified Professional, and a Certified Scrum Master, and has given talks at several community user groups.

 

 

Jimmy Bogard | Headspring Technical ArchitectJimmy Bogard, Technical Architect

Jimmy oversees the technical design and architecture of solutions delivered, evaluating potential technologies and increasing awareness of technologies on the horizon. Jimmy has delivered solutions ranging from shrink-wrapped products to enterprise e-commerce applications for Fortune 100 customers. He is also a Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) and is an active member in the .NET community, leading open source projects, giving technical presentations, and facilitating technical book clubs. Jimmy is a member of the ASPInsiders group, the C# Insiders group, and received the “Microsoft Most Valuable Professional” (MVP) award for ASP.NET in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
