Headspring COO Steps In As President to Continue Growth in 2012
AUSTIN, TX – Feb. 7, 2012, Headspring, a custom software provider, today announced the promotion of the company’s COO, Jeffrey Palermo, to president and COO as part of the transition of its executive leadership team. Palermo will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company and will lead Headspring’s high-growth trajectory, which includes hiring two new employees per month in 2012. The company has also set a goal to promote the existing twenty-five employees within the company in 2012.

AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 19, 2012 – Headspring, a custom software provider, today announced it has hired two new Senior Consultants, Deran Schilling and Nolan Egly, and one new Principal Consultant, Alonso Robles to the growing team. In their new roles, Schilling and Elgy will be responsible for providing technical leadership on client projects and best-of-breed, creative solutions to client’s needs, while Robles will lead multiple client projects to delivery with Headspring’s “no surprises” approach to software.
Schilling is a highly skilled programmer with more than 11 years of experience in outfitting vital software for educational institutions. As a lead software engineer for Houston Independent School District, he developed an application for the human resources department, saving the district $1.1 million. Schilling will bring his talent for developing reliable software to serve human needs to Headspring.

Headspring Begins Phase Six of the Custom Software Project for EPA Systems
AUSTIN, TX – Dec. 10, 2011, Headspring, a custom software provider, today announced the beginning of phase six of their extensive project with EPA Systems, LLC, an environmental consulting company specializing in all facets of air quality measurements.
Headspring is working with EPA Systems and its client, one of the largest oil and gas companies in the world, to help the company conform to new U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) regulations. Headspring is developing important software to help EPA Systems and its clients meet the U.S. EPA requirements. The law requires oil and gas companies to monitor and report on more than 17 different operations that emit greenhouse gasses. Headspring was given the challenge of creating an innovative and effective data analysis software program to give the company the ability to gather and report the information with ease. Open Source Tarantino Moved to Bitbucket
Tarantino, the ultimate developer toolkit and Headspring sponsored open source project, has been moved to the code DVCS hosting site Bitbucket.
The Tarantino project contains many useful tools to help teams perform valuable tasks such as Database Change Management and Application Deployment Management. Headspring promotes CIO

Jeffrey has progressively transitioned in position to oversee all post-sales operations company-wide for Headspring and his change in designation reflects his growth.
A CIO is typically responsible for tackling new challenges and strategic initiatives and for setting the vision for an organization’s technical direction. A COO, in contrast, is typically responsible for the health of an organization’s overall production ensuring that day-to-day operations are smooth.

Mr. Palermo is a nationally regarded expert in software management and developer coaching.
